product. This involves working with developers, under
tight
deadlines, to ensure features follow technical and
business requirements,
comply with standards and guidelines, and exceed
user and customer expectations.
Conducted research
for customer site visits. This included: writing
interview guides, conducting customer
and user
interviews, synthesizing interviews and research
data, developing process
and work flow documentation, and presenting site
visit findings to development and strategy teams.
Managed
team of Interaction Designers in the development of the Create
Requisition, Manage Requisitions and
Approvals, and Administrative Setup features for
PeopleSoft’s
eProcurement (ePro) and Services Procurement (sPro)
products. My team and
I created designs in a cross-functional team environment
in response to customer and user feedback. Managed
Oracle Pleasanton Interaction Design Internship Program.
Responsibilities included: interviewing
candidates, planning
intern schedules, conducting design reviews, instructing
interns in the UCD (User-Centered Design) process
and mentoring.
Created poster of "User-Centered

how the SCM User Experience team fits within the PeopleSoft

Services 101,” interactive
Flash presentation featured on .NET area of www.microsoft.com.
Information graphics
translate complex technical processes behind
XML, SOAP and WSDL technologies into visual representations
for
a non-technical
audience.
Created “Web Services 101” poster,
designed to communicate principles of interactive
Flash presentation
in print format. Poster included in 2003 .NET
collateral, distributed
to business decision makers.
Created user interface
and content information structure for http://dotnet Microsoft
.NET intranet
site. Site
was designed
to deliver content, community, and administration
capabilities to a .NET field audience in a
flexible and continually-changing
environment. Responsibilities also included
hiring and managing the relationship with outside vendor
responsible
for graphic
design of visual interface.
Designed information
graphics for and project-managed the development of “XML
Web Services Using Microsoft .NET” poster.
Poster illustrates to a technical audience
how Microsoft .NET technologies are used in the implementation
of
Web services. 135,000 copies of poster were
printed
and distributed
to
Microsoft
partners and customers. Poster was translated
in multiple languages for worldwide distribution.
Developed
suite of more than 40 technology icons representing Microsoft
and industry
technologies. Icons adopted company-wide
in print materials, online materials and
in executive-level
presentations, such as the launch of Windows
Server 2003.
